Description
Battery terminals are sold as a pair and are made out of nickel-plated copper.
Battery terminals are also known are battery lugs or battery cable ends which provides the ability to connect a cable to a 12 volt system. Battery terminals have a round barrel that thins to a flat surface with a hole that attaches to a battery post or stud. Battery terminals have different characteristics including cable size and stud size.
The most commonly used stud size is 3/8″ or 5/16″ for a battery post.
